I have to say I am very grateful for the government providing double doses to vulnerable and front-line medical professionals. This was a priority and executed well. My son is in care, and he thankfully received his second dose of Pfizer, and I am tremendously thankful and grateful for this.

However, I am concerned about the lack of care for the general population at large. Their lives are no less valuable.

Dr. Russell should be ashamed of herself with her comments when asked about US recommendations for vaccinated individuals reported by the Telegraph-Journal. The story is attached.

I live on the US side for work and business and travel back and forth often. It's amazing to me how much our government officials talk out of their @#$ on this pandemic and don't know the research. AstraZeneca is 1 dose and only 62% effective. Pfizer's one dose is 85% effective...even higher than Astra. So why are they saying we have to wait for second doses before mask restrictions are eased?

So one dose should be the bar? or is it to two doses? The second doses they are saying are important, but they don't have enough vaccine, which is the true scandal against Canadians and New Brunswickers in particular. Pfizer and the CDC recommend 21 days between shots to gain 91.3% effectiveness, and there is absolutely no scientific research indicating the effective percentage increase on a 4-month-old second dose that Health Canada and NB Government have opted to provide. This is called obfuscation of political and governmental competence on the vaccine rollout by Trudeau and the Liberals, and the Higgs government refuses to take Ottawa to task for the debacle. Higgs should immediately buy direct from Pfizer and Moderna and sue Ottawa if they try to stop him.

It's all just about control and hey look at me, I am a bureaucrat and in charge. Human life is more important than their machinations.

There is no need for Coronavirus 7 day hotel health internments for border crossers if there were enough vaccines.  Get the vaccinations done and do whatever is necessary to accomplish this goal.  Higgs and the PCs would be elected for a decade if they accomplished this moral duty to the citizens of New Brunswick.

Further to this and more concerning is the Canadian Border Services are on record telling me they will not recognize my US CDC Pfizer vaccination record indicating I am fully vaccinated with both doses and that I still will need a negative PCR test.  Unbelievable!

So what is this really about?
